ERA The European Rotogravure Association, ERA, founded in 1956, has developed into the leading international organization of the gravure industry. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting users of the gravure printing process.
ERA's mission is to promote gravure wherever it is applied and to contribute to the healthy continuity of the gravure industry.
cip4 The International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress Organization (CIP4). CIP4 brings together vendors, consultants, and end-users in the print communications, graphic arts industry, and associated sectors, covering a variety of equipment, software, peripherals, and processes. Members participate in focused working groups to define the Job Definition Format (JDF), PrintTalk, and other standards relevant to process automation; to study user requirements; to test product interoperability; and to develop a range of JDF software development tools.
jdf JDF is an industry standard designed to simplify information exchange between different applications and systems in and around the graphic arts industry. JDF joins the growing number of standards based on XML, ensuring maximum possible portability between different platforms and ready interaction with Internet-based systems.

Printing Industries of America is the world’s largest graphic arts trade association representing an industry with approximately one million employees. It serves the interests of more than 12,000 member companies. Printing Industries of America, along with its affiliates, delivers products and services that enhance the growth, efficiency, and profitability of its members and the industry through advocacy, education, research, and technical information.

NPES

NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies is a trade association of over 400 companies which manufacture and distribute equipment, systems, software, supplies used in printing, publishing and converting.
The Association was founded as the National Printing Equipment Association in 1933. The 26 charter members included manufacturers of printing presses, bindery equipment, typesetting machinery and specialty equipment.
Today, the Association represents manufacturers, importers and distributors of equipment, supplies, systems and software used in every printing, publishing and converting process from design to distribution. Virtually all industry products and processes are represented by the member companies, which range in size from under $1 million in annual sales revenue to more than $1 billion. 

PII

Founded in 1927, PII serves the print and graphic arts community in Illinois and Indiana.  PII’s current membership exceeds 400 companies. They are an affiliate of the world’s largest graphic arts trade association, the Printing Industries of America, which has more than 12,000 member companies worldwide. The Printing Industries of America represents an industry with more than 1.2 million employees.  Together, PII and the Printing Industries of America deliver products and services that enhance the growth, efficiency and profitability of our members and the industry through advocacy, education, research and technical information.
